Three Algorists recently met by the Ocean
and watched the Green Flash.

On the last day of the Siggraph'95 show in Los Angeles, Jean-Pierre Hébert, Ken Musgrave and Roman Verostko founded an informal group of Algorists. Since then Charles Csuri, Helaman Ferguson and Manfred Mohr have joined the group. A second meeting with Helaman Ferguson, Jean-Pierre Hébert and Ken Musgrave occured in early Spring of 1997. After Siggraph'97 in Los Angeles, there was a third meeting with Jean-Pierre Hébert, Ken Musgrave and Roman Verostko.

In fact many more limited one-on-one encounters beetween Algorists happen all the time, but are not talked about.

Mauro Annunziato was invited to join after meetings at Siggraph'99 with Helaman Ferguson, Jean-Pierre Hébert and Ken Musgrave.

All members of the Algorists group have each developed over a number of years a solid body of work, which has evolved as a result of the continuous and critical development of their algorithms. Their work is built upon their personnal and original software, adapted to their creative process and taste, and foundation of their style.
