Sand As Medium: Sand Etching
So much sand, so little time...
Each piece results from a short text: software animates the ball, which
etches through the sand.
As faster models will happen, interaction will become possible from
different input devices, which will create in fact a very different
feeling and piece.

The process is well illustrated by a few time-warped,
animated sequences, Ho's signature, Max Bill's Theme, Well Tempered (10Mb), (5Mb), Fong now and Fong
then.
If the work is left running traces over traces, sand accumulations will
create improvised perturbations, light at first; but the physical
processes eventually become chaotic and overwhelming. This is
illustrated in a series of five images (Perturbations 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5)
