marcia's studio

this santa barbara gallery has mostly shown traditional landscape painting, but i have been invited to show there my work in parallel with the off axis biennale show at sbcaf, and to have another show in 2009. this is an interesting challenge that i accepted, and i am preparing works on paper in landscape and panoramic formats that i almost never used (it was marcia burtt who suggested the kitp art residency to david gross.)

cynthia stahl has agreed on a very simple and elegant way to install the drawings.

the individual, man as a man, man as a brain, if you like, interests me more than what he makes, because i have noticed that most artists only repeat themselves. (marcel duchamp)
